MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED/COMMON  QUESTIONS:
(I will not reply to email if your question is answered here.)

QUESTION: Who are the KNIGHTS TEMPLAR and their swords?
ANSWER: A Masonic/fraternal order of people.  Checkout a local copy of Templar History for further information or visit their website http://www.templarhistory.com/swords.html .

QUESTION: Why are these swords frequently misidentified as Knights of Columbus?
ANSWER: Both groups have similar markings on the pommel of a "knight's head". Checkout my page of Knights of Columbus for more information about that group.

QUESTION: How much are swords worth? And how old is it?
ANSWER: Value of swords vary greatly.. from $90 to $350 ($100 to $150 commonly) depending on quality, condition, and rarity. Most of my Templar swords were made betwen1873 and 1894, most similar swords are from 1920's to 1950's .

QUESTION: Where can I get an estimate value on my sword?
ANSWER: There are several price guide books out on valuating swords. You can also visit a local Pawn Shop and they could give you an estimate price for pawning. Also check places to buy more or sell swords for similar to your own sword.

QUESTION: Do you buy or sell swords?
ANSWER: I sometimes buy swords which are are similar or that peek my interest.  If you are asking more than $500, although I'd enjoy looking at the pictures.. I probably won't be interested in buying it. :)

QUESTION: Where can I sell my sword or buy more?
ANSWER: The most two common places that I have found swords are local antique stores and pawns shops. (Since swords are rare, they usually come and go quickly.) Other places I've seen swords are Amazon.com's Auctions and E-Bay Auctions.

QUESTION: Do you have any references, other info, or links I can look at?
ANSWER: I have a random file of notes and links which I'm in the process of collecting and soon to be put up as web pages.
