Slackware's dead. Red Hat and Debian are the two most popular releases this week. Sloth is running Debian, and I'm pretty impressed with it. Red Hat is probably more popular, but Debian is gaining. Debian: Distribution collection

There are also several companies that sell pre-packaged Linux server solutions. Take a look at Infomagic's Workgroup Server at http://www.infomagic.com/infomagic/wgs.html. I've never used it, but it's based on Red Hat's Linux distribution, and it's designed (and marketed) as a commercial server solution. Caldera (http://www.caldera.com) has some information on their web page about their upcoming "Caldera Open Linux Server," which will include complete Netware support, including support for NDS.
